Abstract

The employers’ association is characterized until 1936 by plurality, own logic and a scarce associative centralization. Since then, the rigidity of the Spanish Union Organization and its rural branch, Farmers’ Unions, have limitations. The management takes advantage of them, of its vertical and above all horizontal structures, of the old association of Chambers and even of other non-institutional ways. The result is that the management keep his representation of interests, it explains that since 1977 his new associations start from the existing structures and men. It is still to confirm, among others, if this result reaches small and middle interests the same way.
