In 1412 there was the Caspe’s Compromise, for which the Castilian dynasty of the Trastámara rose to the throne of the Aragonese Crown. Caspe’s Compromise has been judged as one of the most important events of the Middle Ages, but the interpretation that historians have done about it hasn’t been always the same. This work will try to analyze if the vision of the general works of Spain and Catalonia of the first two decades of Franco’s regime about this event is a castilianist vision or not.
