By profession, feminine radio speaker. The feminine voices of the Spanish radio previous to the Franco’s regime

The aim of this paper is to give visibility to the first feminine announcers of radio in Spain. We will offer a description of her labor in the radio to demonstrate, from a qualitative methodology, how her work was the same that her male companions achieved. This article is going to annotate some famous announcers who were employed during the 20s in Catalonia and will show who was the first woman announcer in Spain. Also, the article will be recognized the professionalism of other many women who exercised this job, in the decade of the 30 in different Spanish broadcasting corporations.
