Ortega y Gasset and Spanish Right Movements

Ortega y Gasset´s political thought clearly liberal-conservative. However, it was criticezed by whole of Spanish rights. Reason of this rejection was basicly religious. His agnosticisme, his defence of laycisme and later his republicanisme deprive him of rights support, who werw mainly catholic and monarchist. Howerver, undersatanding the arisement of new traditions inside the Spanish right is not possible without his intelectual contribution.
