The text examines the «crisis» of confidence by which the community of the French historians is passing through. In comparing the current state of «disillusion» in respect of the «security» and reliance that historians lived on the Third Republic, the article points out the responsibility to carry on a new «combat pour l'histoire» in three fundamental fields: Education, Justice, and Memory.
