Abstract

The article does a balance of the publications on the Spanish Civil War and the repression in the provinces that shape the current Castilla and León (Spain), gathering the aspects already assumed in the historiography as the precedents of the military revolt, which triumphed without significant resistance in all the provinces for what one cannot speak in rigor of Spanish Civil War in this space of rear. Nevertheless, the violence of the repression was extraordinary and senseless, though still we don’t know the total scope of the same one and don’t know other forms of social, economic and labour repression or the violence of genre exercised on the victimized women. Topics that only they will be revealed in the provincial or regional investigations by the managing all kinds of documentary sources, also the oral ones, to know the depth of the repression in the familiar affected networks.
