Abstract

In this paper we will try to identify, or at least name, the main Spanish public policy since the death of Franco aimed to the reparation of the victims from the Spanish Civil War, 1936-1939, the exile and the dictatorship that followed the war. Our goal is to analyze the so-called Law of Historical Memory, and already inside of it, to focus on the section of policies aimed to identify and locate missing people who disappeared violently during the Civil War and the subsequent repression, whose whereabouts have been unknown throughout the dictatorship, making an assessment of the policy and the level of compliance.
