This article focuses on the role played by the brothers de Corral y Tomé, owners of “Tanning Extracts Factory” as part of the launch of the magazine The Art of Tanning and Tenería Spanish School in Barcelona. The business management, journalism and education came together until the end of that school in 1928. We analyze the utilization of quebracho tannin extract of the Gran Chaco as to the economic crisis of 1929 which blurred the production of catalans tanned.
